I have googled this and of coarse five thousands cures come forward with free downloads. You download and they sa you have multiple problems and then you have to purchase something. I don't mind paying, but that is what got me into this fix in the first place. How do you know which one is honest and honorable.I've spent hundreds with Geek on call and other places that said they could fix and shortly after thirty days and the warranty runs out, back to the same problem. I'm not asking for the free route only the road to the right one.

This error is generated when an application has been closed, while it was making use of your computer's RAM. That does not mean that the RAM is ( physically ) i corrupted.

Try reinstalling the programs u installed in last week. Maybe u have installed conflicting programs.

if all else fails, stick a XP cd in and do a repair

If you have the ability to back up every important file on your computer - and still have the original OS Cds, you should REALLY consider doing a fresh install of XP. If your system is loaded with random stuff, has had lots of programs installed and uninstalled over the years and wavering problems with programs - a clean install is the way to go. Format everything. Start over. Install all the windows updates -- and transport programs in again, and all the files you saved.

I don't know how, but the college student next door sure knows how. I will see if i can't buy him a couple of cases of Budweiser.

This seems to be IE6 problem. Try upgrading to IE7, that might cure it.
